On March 16^th 2013 Craighouse School began the new academic year in its new venue, spread out over 24 hectares of land with the school buildings at the top end and the beautiful green state-of-the-art hockey and rugby fields rolling away as far as the eye could see. The dream of the Darlings and Willy Pérez, in all its splendour, had finally come true 54 years later.

On Thursday, March 28^th, two weeks after classes had begun, the inauguration ceremony was held in the early morning. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out in the presence of all pupils, teachers and Mrs Darling.
